Our long standing partner Mainstream Refrigeration has confirmed orders for 3 x CO₂ store upgrades for Woolworths Supermarkets, South Africa.

The stores will have Mainstream Transcritical CO₂ packs with Guardian Controls GC45 CO₂ controllers and the energy efficient E515 controller will be fitted to cold rooms and shop floor cases. These orders are on top of 20 existing stores which have already been upgraded with the Mainstream’s highly advanced CO₂ refrigeration system.

Tackling energy efficiency is a key aspect of Woolworths strategy. Having already optimised 130 sites with energy efficient controllers, components and control methodologies, Woolworths is leading by example and setting standards in South Africa.
